  Civic Pub is a decent place for a casual get-together. Don't go for the beer unless you especially like dull beer (try Bentspoke for beer with flavor). Don't go for the food if you're after a top dining experience. Do go for a place to chat that's comfy and isn't too loud. Do go for reliable, decent pub grub. Do go if you want to pay billiards. Do go for a good cheap meal on Wednesday ($10 Parma is hard to beat!).
